Series reactor and high voltage shunt capacitor bank are connected in series, usually installed in the low voltage circuit of 500KV, 220KV, 110KV substation. It can compensate grid reactive power, improve system power factor and transmission capacity, and harmonic suppression to reduce the grid voltage waveform distortion, limit the switch switching current of capacitor bank and many other functions.Shunt reactors, normally used for high voltage shunt compensation loop can limit the light load or no-load voltage increases on the long-distance transmission lines and the capacitive charging current of the compensation line, improve the power factor. The reactor can save energy and improve the stability and reliability of the power system.

3. Using Condition
3.1 Installation Site:Indoor
3.2 Cooling Method:AN/AF
3.3 Protection Class:We have the shell of protection class IP00, IP20, IP23.etc. The IP20 can prevent foreign matter whose diameter not less than 12.5mm from entering into the shell and IP23 can also prevent water whole angle to vertical line is less than 60℃from drenching into the shell. Meanwhile, we can produce the shell according to the protection class requirements of customers.
3.4 Ambient temperature: -10℃~+40℃. If the ambient temperature is above 40℃, appropriate norm adjustment. Will be done according to the relevant standards and the relevant provisions.
3.5 Altitude: less than 1000m. If the altitude above 1000m, appropriate norm adjustment. Will be done according to the relevant standards and the relevant provisions.
3.6 Insulating Class: F
3.7 The products are generally for indoor type, should be installed in the indoor spaces that clean, ventilated and with the right atmospheric conditions. If the reactor is installed in the basement or restricted places like switchgear, adequate ventilation is necessary. Usually every 1KW losses (no-losd loss+load loss) need air volume about 4 m3/min.
